Light
Joseph speaks: I want to talk to you today about Light and its properties and qualities. Light is motion. Light is a journey. Light is the exuding, the putting-forth, of energy from the Godhead. Light isn't still, as you will know from physics. Light moves, and Light, moving through bodies, through objects, changes them. Light is also an expression of the mental, loving process of God, so the quality of the Light we give out is an expression of God's intention and our intentions – as spirits – towards an object or a person.
In healing, varying levels of Light are sent to people. Vibrations of Light – different wavelengths of Light – are sent to people so that the trash, the rubbish, the vibrations those souls have accumulated and don't need, can be taken away from them.
Because Light – of course – is able to penetrate darkness, we use various frequencies of Light to get rid of the darker vibrations that surround and penetrate people. We then use certain other frequencies of Light to heal the physical object (the body); and another frequency of Light to heal the mental object (the mind); and another frequency of Light to heal the psychic object, the spiritual object (the soul and the spirit). If you were to watch us transmitting Light, it would seem to you as though different colours of Light were hitting the person we were directing it to. Each of those streams, each of those frequencies, has a job to do.
Some of them remove matter, remove vibrations. Some of them encourage organs to regenerate. Some of them penetrate the mental field and separate from that mental field some of the negative thoughts the person has picked up about themselves which they believe to be true, and which are making them ill. So we sever the connection between the thoughts and the person so that the person can look at those thoughts objectively and think, "I don't need those any more.” They can then let go of them, they can let them fade away.
Other vibrations of Light stimulate the spirit; stimulate the soul, because the strength within any healing operation has to come from a belief within the soul being healed that everything is well once again, that everything is healed. So we send out multi-rays of Light to heal all aspects of the person receiving the healing. How do we do this? We sit together in a circle, or as a band of souls, and each of us concentrates on one of those wavelengths of Light, concentrating that Light towards the person or persons who are doing the healing – the healer on the physical plain. In turn they then pass on, send out from their solar plexus that Light which affects the person on Earth who requires healing.
We use Light for communication as well. Light is communication. Whenever you send out Light to someone you are communicating love to them. If you want to pray effectively, send out Light to someone... don't ask for someone to get better in a certain way, or for them to think a certain thing, or to act in a certain way, simply send them Light.
If you sit down and think of a person who needs healing, very often your Guide will come up behind you and will give you a colour – place a colour into your mind – so that you can send out that colour vibration to the person you are thinking about, and that will do much more good than your saying, "Father, I want x, y and z [to happen to somebody]", because you don't know what the ultimate purpose is in their suffering. If you send out Light, pure and simple Light, you are reinforcing the God within them, so whatever the reason that that suffering is there with them for, it will be transmuted, it will be helped along, it will be lightened – even if it is a karmic lesson they are going through - by the Light that you send to them.
We are all Light-givers. We are all Light-bringers, and Light is what the world needs, not as some phrase – not as some cliché – but as a fact. The world needs Light.
Having to penetrate the darkness of your world is like trying to open a clamshell because the vibrations that surround you are so murky and so heavy, and only a small portion of what we try to get through to you succeeds in getting through at all. So we have to penetrate the murkiness of your level of consciousness with Light, and again we band together to do this, forming a chain of light linked to other spheres and we draw in this God-light and send it towards the Earth.
It is the accumulated psychic and mental debris of millions of souls created, imagined, over thousands and thousands of years that push you down.
So our task is to bring Light to the world. Jesus said, "I am the Light of the World." Why do you think he said this? He wasn't describing himself. He was describing the God within him and within us all. I am God. I am the Light of the World.
In connecting with God we bring Light into this world, we bring Light into the darkness, and that is our task and that is our purpose in communicating with you; to have more people capable of going from one to another and leaving a Light within those they met, so that finally we can penetrate this wall of disbelief and remind people of who they are.
If you take away the shared field of consciousness on Earth, if you take away the darkness, then the soul begins to remember that it itself is Light! If we were to strip away your physical body, if we were to strip away your mental body, if we were to strip away your astral body, what would we be left with? We would be left with consciousness that is embedded within a spark, within Light.
The God that people seek in religion, in churches, in kneeling, in clasping their hands and closing their eyes, and saying, "Where are you, God?" is within them all the time. It's Light, but they will never realise this until sufficient Light is brought back into this world, and I say back because your world has gone into a decline, and there was a time when there was sufficient Light on Earth for people to know who they were and to live accordingly.
‘The Fall’ is a story that I will tell you one day - how that happened. How your world became as it is now. For now it is sufficient for you to know that a ‘fall’, from grace, if you like, from illumination, did happen, and that this world wasn't scheduled to be the dark place that it is today.
What can you give someone – truly – that will lift them up? Light! Nothing else, because that's what they are, that's all there is, in God- reality, and that's what they truly need.
We look forward to a time when people sit together on Earth to produce a sea of Light that can then be sent out across your world to help wherever help is needed. A time when hospitals will have people surrounding them with Light, and will have rooms where people – light-workers – are able to come and sit with people to bathe those suffering souls – those patients, in Light. You invade the physical body and think that you can cure something. What can you cure? You are taking a scalpel – which itself is an illusion – and you are cutting the body – which itself is an illusion – and taking out something that is also an illusion. What can you heal? You can only heal with Light. You can only heal by putting a hand on the head of the person and saying, "Be still... everything is fine. You are a part of God. You can never die. You are loved. You are going somewhere. You are evolving. You are part of us... there is no need to fear." And in doing that, you heal.
All problems come from the feeling of separation. To set boundaries based on the extremities, the physical limits, of the physical body – to believe that This is me; that is not me... is to believe in an illusion. Better to say, “This is me; that is also me... I affect the field. I am part of the field. I am part of you. You are part of me. You're my brother. You're my sister.” Light is needed to make people realise these basic spiritual truths.
The world is given opportunities every day to love, but it prefers instead to hate. Souls are given opportunities to love people in hospitals, opportunities to love people in prisons, opportunities to love people within their family circles, and opportunities to love themselves... to bring through light, and they ignore them.
So, to distill what I am talking about today, the greatest weapon for good that can ever be used is Light. We use it all the time. I myself am a vibration of light. I choose to come through to you with a human form, but that human form is an illusion. It is a ‘hologram’. It is a projection of light in a certain way that gives me the appearance of human form.
And there are planets in this physical universe on which beings of Light live in a far different way than you do. They are as far away from you in thought and approach to life as you are from some of your microbes. And yet there is no real difference between them and you, except in their ability to accept, to live within, the Light.
So your mission, your job, is to bring Light to your world, whether you use that Light in the way you speak to comfort someone, or whether you use that Light to diffuse an argument between two people, or whether it is a matter of you sending out Light to the other side of the world to help with conditions there, or of giving yourself Light, of clearing your head.
Do you know what ‘clearing your head’ means from a spiritual point of view? Clearing your head means getting rid of the negative, the darker vibrations you have accrued over the years and saying, "There is nothing wrong... there is only light. Now I can think straight because there is only light." That's why we come to you, to bring you Light. And all of my lectures can be distilled to that one point.
Now I have to go back to the Light, because working in conditions – even with people on my side who are enveloping me in Light so that I can communicate – working in conditions on the Earth plane is tiring. It is like being drained. It is like losing consciousness, but not going unconscious. It is like losing God-Consciousness; which is the most precious thing we have, like losing my most precious connection to my God.
